Synopsis
Sideral is an emotional journey where Circus, Butoh Dance and Theater merge into a global discipline and bring the viewer into a multidimensional reality where objects, costumes and characters transmute as the play progresses. Sideral is a poetic event where two Beings find the relationship between them, and the relationship with the public and the context, through ritual and universal gestures borrowed from different cultures around the World, through the creation of theatrical images and through their funny lexicon made by balls, hoops, contact sphere, fans, hula hoop and acrobatics.
Company
Kamayama Company is made by Linda & Miguinti, artists dedicated to deep, subtle and evolutionary expressive research. Linda is an acrobat, graduated from Cirko Vertigo and in History of Art in Turin University, while Miguinti is an object manipulator, teacher and Butoh dancer. The Company was born during the collaboration for the White Hole project, by Linda with Miguinti as external eye, and develops in research into the union of two different but parallel sensibilities: Clown and Butoh dance. Sideral is their last work-in-progress act.
